it's so quiet now that everyone is leaving. i like the solitude, but any definite end/beginning marker is hard. it's a sign that time is, in fact, passing. and that i am getting older. (which i don't know if i'll ever really believe.)

now is a good time though. i'm staying in pittsburgh for the summer, but traveling a bit to take care of my constant restlessness. and i do feel like good things are coming. (one of which is a ukulele. and i can't stop talking about it.) i am proabably the happiest when i have something to look forward to.

it's a book of poems i wrote this semester for class. but that's not important. the important part is the cover. see below.

as i was browsing the book section of Target for gifts for my sister, i happened upon the following titles in the "young adult" section: The Feelings Book, The Moon, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things, and The Grapes of Math.

shopping today was brief and painless!

so, i'm still waiting for an update on what to do for work today, so i thought i'd share some awesome pictures with you guys. last weekend i went down to south florida for a rockin' 80s-themed swing dance/birthday party. it was one of the best times i've had in a long time. so here are some ( pictures! )
